About Us
The Consent of Shadows is more than a novella — it’s the beginning of a world.
Set in a system where forgetting is survival and memory is rebellion, the story follows one man’s unraveling within a machine built to erase the past. That machine is called Aetherniris — but it wasn’t always.
Originally developed under the acronym AETERNIRIS — short for Administrative Entity for Temporal Evaluation, Regulation, and Neural Identity Systems — it was later repurposed and renamed. Over time, the acronym faded, and what remained was myth: Aeterniris, commonly known as Eternal Vision. Eventually, the name evolved into Aetherniris, merging aether — the classical fifth element, the invisible medium of transmission — with iris, the eye, the portal, the interface.
Now, Aetherniris moves beyond fiction. It is also the name of the real-world project behind this book — an independent storytelling and artifact platform exploring memory, resistance, and identity through narrative, design, and limited-edition pieces.
This project exists at the intersection of fiction, philosophy, and quiet defiance. Whether you arrived here through the story, a quote, or a symbolic object, you are now part of the signal.
You’re invited to observe, interpret — and if you’re brave — remember.
The Consent of Shadows is available in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle editions. You can find it now on Amazon.
